Degub Cave, one of the largest caves in southern Soqotra Island, was historically used as a shelter by the indigenous Soqotri people to protect themselves from strong winds and natural disasters. It is locally also known as “lazy cave” because of the easy access to it.

Die Degub Höhle, eine der größten Höhlen im Südteil der Insel Soqotra, wurde traditionell als Unterschlupf der Einheimischen genutzt zum Schutz vor den Unbilden der Natur wie Stürmen und Starkregen. Sie ist bei den Einheimischen auch als „Faule Höhle“ bekannt, da sie leicht zu erreichen ist.
